This spiral was originally a 30" round string layout for a monoprint made at Penland School of Crafts - it took 2-1/2 hours to layout the string & the wavering texture was from natural variation. It really looks like tree rings, don't you think? This is great for every day correspondence or as a birthday card for tree / pattern lovers! Vibrant magenta ink.
